Mr. Arcari is an aviation maintenance senior executive that began his career with Pan Am in 1958. He began at Pan Am as an FAA licensed A&P (aircraft & powerplant) mechanic. Through his thirty years of service at Pan Am, he progressed to the positions of System Director, Aircraft Maintenance, JFK Overhaul Base General Manager of the JFK Aircraft Maintenance Overhaul Base, which was responsible for heavy aircraft maintenance checks, engines, landing gear, mechanical and avionics component repair and overhaul. He was chosen to lead Pan Am’s aircraft maintenance to introduce the B747 into commercial airline service in 1969. Mr. Arcari served as Vice President-Maintenance & Engineering of Tower Air, which was a 747 airline operator. In the 1990’s, Mr. Arcari served as President of Page AvJet Corporation, a noted aviation industry MRO (Aircraft Repair, Modification & Overhaul).
Since 1996, Mr. Arcari has also worked & consulted with Singapore Technolgies Aerospace, DalFort Aerospace, Mobile Aerospace, Aviation Group, Inc., AvEx Exterior Aircraft Painting, TXI Aviation & TriStar Aircraft Spares, Inc, During his multi-extensive, active, sixty year aviation career, his specialties included: Aircraft/Engine/Component Repair, Overhaul, Modifications, Aircraft Leasing CompanyTechnical Support, Exterior Aircraft Painting, Establishing & Operating Airframe, MRO, repair & overhaul facilities, Handling corporate & head-of-state aircraft interior & exterior modification programs. In 1980, Mr. Arcari was named “Man of the Year” of his alumni High School of Aviation Trades based, in New York City, NY. Mr, Arcari graduated from the then named, Manhattan High School of Aviation Trades in 1958 with numerous honors. Mr. Arcari consults Aero Design Labs on issues that involve structural integrity, heavy airframe maintenance, and installation techniques.
